Have you ever thought of what it would be like to be homeless? What if you were a young girl, or boy, or mother of three fleeing an abusive relationship? Or someone who knew the crippling effects of an addiction that alienated you from family and friends? An older person with a mental or physical disability unable to live unassisted? Where would you go for help?
The Phoenix Rescue Mission is meeting an incredible need in the Phoenix area. The face of homelessness is changing. It is no longer mainly single men, but now includes many families, women and single mothers with small children. There are many programs and varying levels of support that they are able to provide for those less fortunate through donations and volunteering.
There are many ways that you can help feed, clothe, provide shelter to the homeless, and assist young families as they strive to gain the skills and self-confidence needed to become independent. Go to the Phoenix Rescue Mission website to donate time, goods or money, or book your videography service with Beautiful Day Films by the end of 2007 and we will donate 30% of the total package price to their life changing efforts.
