Winner Winner Winner

The Bridal Fashion Show was FANTASTIC! We had so much fun and got to meet so many Brides and Grooms. The request for demos was incredibly large so I will be busy preparing those for mailing today.

We never can seem to remember to bring a camera to take photos of our booth, but luckily our good friend Rachel Priddy of Priddy Photo was there to save the day. She will be sending over some photos for us to share with all of you.

Our drawing was for a Photo Montage or Love Story Video. Congratulations to Jennifer Franco of Mesa, AZ for winning! We’ll update you on which one Jennifer and her fiance choose.

WOW, 2008 is here already! We’ve been busy, busy getting ready for the Bridal Fashion Debut this week and are looking forward to meeting all 4,000 plus Brides & Grooms.

The Bridal Fashion Debut is a two day event running January 5th & 6th at the Phoenix Convention Center. Be sure to check out the Bridal Fashion Debut website to enter some giveaways.

A couple of tips for the show:

• Wear your walking shoes. It’s a huge convention and there’s a lot to see.

• They’ll give you a “Bride Bag” at the door which is jam packed with items from vendors that chose to have literature placed inside. You might want to bring something that is more comfortable to carry so you can have a place to put that and other handouts.

• Bring address labels with your names, address, phone number, event date and location. Several vendors have drawings and you don’t want to spend all your time filling out entry forms. There are about 600 vendors and most will be doing a drawing of some sort so calculate that in to how many labels you bring.

Beautiful Day Films in LA

 

Jim Stamps of Beautiful Day Films was given the opportunity to assist in 2 shoots in LA this past Tuesday. The first location was at the Warner Brothers Studios sound stage for an interview with James Horner. One of Mr. Horner’s many credits is his Oscar & Grammy Award winning performance for the Titanic soundtrack. Then, it was over to Applied Minds with creative/techno-guru Bran Ferren. This was an amazing trip where Jim was able to learn even more about interview set-up and filming with some other pro’s.

Everyone here at Beautiful Day Films is constantly seeking to sharpen our skills and stay on the cutting edge of the film industry. We love what we do and want that to reflect in our films.
